The Arthur Miller Festival: Our season includes a tribute to a giant of American dramatic literature – Arthur Miller. Two of his most acclaimed plays anchor the salute – A View from the Bridge and Death of a Salesman. In addition, we’ll have Monday evening readings, screenings and lectures exploring his other work.  The Festival is sponsored by Susan and Steven Bralove, John and Linda Derrick, Wendy Farrow Raines, Mark and Merrill Shugoll and Dick and Katie Snowdon.

Notes from Molly: In Death of a Salesman and A View from the Bridge, audiences will see two towering classics of American theater presented in true repertory style. Imagine being able to see Salesman one night and Bridge the next day with one wonderful company of actors. These gripping productions and the other events in our Arthur Miller Festival will provide a fascinating look at an artist who influenced several generations of actors, directors and designers.

This Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece was hailed by the New York Times as "one of the finest dramas in the whole range of the American theater." Exhibiting Miller’s skill as a storyteller and social commentator, it has lost none of its potency or relevance as it examines our national obsession with wealth and success.   more
