Notes from Molly: When I first encountered an early draft of Moisés’ play at the Sundance Institute, I was determined to have Arena collaborate with him on the development of this significant new work. After watching it evolve during three successful workshops, we’re proud to have this world premiere as one of the artistic pillars of our season. The play uses Beethoven’s own words and live onstage music as it explores the mysteries of artistic inspiration.
