

Bucky Art
In partnership with Crystal City Business Improvement District, Arena Stage will present 11 outdoor art pieces scattered on the streets of Crystal City inspired by the work of R. Buckminster Fuller and his design science principles. The exhibition will open April 1 and will remain open through the run of the production.

Pre- and Post-Show Lectures, Presentations & Panels
During the run of the production, Arena Stage will bring in speakers between weekend matinee and evening shows who will lecture on topics relevant to the show and take questions from the audience. These events will be free and open to the public. Join us in between shows on June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27. Check back here soon for more information on the panelists.

WEATHERIZE DC
Terrance Laney works with Weatherize DC, a nonprofit that seeks to advance economic and environmental justice by creating clean career opportunities for people who need the most. Weatherize DC is a program of The DC Project, which seeks to weatherize every home in Washington and create green jobs for workers with significant barriers to employment. The DC Project’s model of economic development uses organized communities to create demand and then uses that demand to influence businesses to supply goods and services in a manner that reflects the values and needs of that community. |

CRYSTAL CITY GOING GREEN
Angie Fox is the first president/CEO for Crystal City Business Improvement District and is responsible for Crystal Green, the city’s program focused on building relationships with key partners to minimize the cumulative environmental impact of the neighborhood’s businesses and residences by focusing on energy efficiency, environmental quality, and waste minimization. Crystal City Business Improvement District partnered with Arena Stage to create the outdoor Bucky Art exhibit. |
